FORD MOTOR COMPANY
Does any body knows what is MNC? It’s Multi National Corporation also called multinational enterprise, is a corporation or an enterprise that manages production or delivers services in more than one country. It can also be referred as an international corporation. In this essay I will talk about Ford motor company. It’s is an automobile maker founded by Henry Ford in Detroit, Michigan, and incorporated on June 16, 1903.
Ford was launched from a converted wagon factory, with $28,000 cash from 12 investors. During its early years, the company produced just a few cars a day at the Ford factory on Mack Avenue in Detroit. Groups of two or three men worked on each car from components made to order by other companies. In 1908, the Ford company released the Ford Model T. The first Model T's were built at the Piquette Plant. The company was forced to move production to the much larger Highland Park Plant to keep up with the demand for the Model T, and by 1913 had developed all of the basic techniques of the assembly line and mass production. Ford introduced the world's first moving assembly line on December 1 that year, which reduced chassis assembly time from 12Ѕ hours in October to 2 hours, 40 minutes. However these innovations were not popular, and in order to stop the staff deserting the monotonous jobs, on January 5, 1914, Ford took the radical step of doubling pay to $5 a day, and cut shifts from 9 hours to 8 - moves that were not popular with rival companies, although seeing the increase in Ford's productivity, most soon followed suit. By the end of 1913, Ford was producing 50% of all cars in the United States, and by 1918 half of all cars in the country were Model Ts. Referring to the Model T, Henry Ford is reported to have said that "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black." This was because black paint was quickest to dry; earlier models had been available in a variety of colors.
Ford F-150 - Introduced in Fall 2008 as a 2009 model, the F Series pickup trucks are some of the most profitable vehicles sold by the automaker. Fortunately, gas prices have plummeted over the past several months, stoking demand for the perennial pickup truck segment favorite. Expect the award winning F-150 to continue to sell well as long as gas prices remain low. A wild card in Ford's recovery effort for 2009 are the fortunes of General Motors and Chrysler. Should either automaker file for bankruptcy, that move could impact suppliers, the same companies who provide key parts for Ford. The best laid plans of Ford could be scuttled should its competitors fail, something Ford doesn't want to see especially under these circumstances.

Ford Motor Company achieved record first quarter sales of 90,791 units in China. Ford brand passenger vehicles posted sales of 47,213 units, a 54 percent year-over-year increase. It's passenger car joint-venture, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile (CFMA), increased year-over-year sales volume by 58 percent to 61,789 units. Also Ford Motor's commercial investment in China, Jiangling Motor Corporation (JMC), recorded sales of 23,785 units, with Ford Transit sales up 19 percent.
Ford Motor Company, a global automotive industry leader based in Dearborn, Mich., manufactures and distributes automobiles across six continents. With approximately 201,000 employees and 90 plants worldwide, the company's automotive brands include Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Volvo. The company provides financial services through Ford Motor Credit Company.
Under the leadership of the current chairman, William Clay Ford, Jr., the company stunned the industry and pleased environmentalists with an announcement of a planned 25 percent improvement in the average mileage of its light truck fleet - including its popular Sport Utility Vehicles - to be completed by the 2005 calendar year. Note however, that FMC has made no significant progress toward the 2005 goal as of early 2005, has terminated its electric vehicle program, recovering most vehicles for recycling via crushing and shredding, and has instead delivered ICE vehicles to the post office, despite obtaining various subsidies for EV development.
In my opinion ford motor company is one of the biggest Multi National Corparations in the worls which has graid success. Start from 1990 Ford company improved many things and also fulfilled a social resposibility. Ford Motor Company is on a quality roll. Changes to the company’s product development, manufacturing and quality processes have further boosted vehicle quality, putting Ford on par with the best in the business. To conclude this essay I would like to say that Ford motor company will make more improvements in 2011 and just because I really like this car brand I hope in the future I will have one of their’s cars.

Peak Oil
Peak oil is the point in time when the maximum rate of global petroleum extraction is reached, after which the rate of production enters terminal decline. The concept is based on the observed production rates of individual oil wells, and the combined production rate of a field of related oil wells. The aggregate production rate from an oil field over time usually grows exponentially until the rate peaks and then declines—sometimes rapidly—until the field is depleted.
There are many ways to transport oil. One of the most ways that people use is big trailers. If oil transporting from one country to another very often, people build long tunnel to transport oil very fast on big distance with less money spend. However there is other problem, how to transport oil from one country to another especially is between them there is a sea or ocean, which was solved easily. People decided to use big ships and one of those ship companies is PRISCO.
As we all know oil is very useful part of our life. Every day people use most of the transport which works on petrol and different kind of oil. Entities such as governments or cartels can reduce supply to the world market by limiting access to the supply through nationalizing oil, cutting back on production, limiting drilling rights, imposing taxes, etc. International sanctions, corruption, and military conflicts can also reduce supply. Overall, oil provides about 1/3 of the world's energy usage, most of it for use in transportation. Other forms of energy provide for our electricity needs such as coal, natural gas, nuclear and renewable such as wind, solar and hydroelectric power. Those forms of energy, as not really suitable, as a replacement for oil, as most oil is used in transportation and for manufacturing materials such, as plastic and asphalt.
Very few commodities have become as vital as petroleum since it can be used as a source of energy as well as a raw material in the manufacturing of plastics and fertilizers. As a commodity of strategic importance, petroleum has for long been the object of geopolitical confrontations. Several contemporary geopolitical events were closely related to oil or had consequences on oil supply and prices.
Peak Oil is thought to occur when roughly half of the world's oil reserves have been used up. All oil fields peak and then decline by their very nature and the concept of global Peak Oil is simply the extrapolation of this idea to the sum of all known oil fields. Peak Oil is thought to be imminent because there have been fewer 'super giant' oil field discoveries in recent years to put any potential peak in production further into the future. Usable oil will not run out in the near future but prices will rise as global demand continues to increase (at about 2% per year) and attempts to outstrip a stagnating (or peaking) supply. The actual date that Peak Oil occurs is not as important as the fact that global oil output will probably fall short of demand.
Of course, oil supplies may be constrained not just by geological factors but for other reasons as well including geopolitical instability (e.g. conflict, political manipulation / unrest), a physical shortage of rigs, a deteriorating oil infrastructure, lack of investment and a rapidly aging oil industry workforce.
Oil will not just "run out" because all oil production follows a bell curve. This is true whether we're talking about an individual field, a country, or on the planet as a whole. It is estimated that the world may have enough oil to year 2030 at current consumption, and enough natural gas to year 2060 if all known reserves were recoverable. Life will not continue as is until every last drop is gone. There continues to be small amounts of oil suspected as reserves around the world, but not in the quantities that will alter the clear shortages and competition for it. It is very unlikely that a child born after 2005 will ever need a driver license, and it is very likely that before 2020 many people around the world will be living without the benefits of oil and will lose the use of natural gas at the same time.

So to be aware what was the history of Merlion I looked in Wikipedia, just to get the idea what Merlion is and why it was built. For information I used trustworthy websites. Some of them are SQUIDOO – which is travel guide brochure. The other website is NEWASIA Singapore where located Travel Information about Merlion.

What do you prefer fast food or healthy food? Fast food is more delicious, it looks and tastes much better than healthy food. On the other hand there is healthy food which is good for your organism. The purpose of this essay is to contrast the differences between healthy food and fast food. There are many things to talk about your choice of food, these are the price, the time you spend to prepare it, and the most important: that your choice reflrcts on your health.
First of all I will talk about the price, which is in my opinion is the most signeficant part. It is a fact that fast food is much cheaper than healthy food. In contrast fast food is unhealthy. So if you consume this food, you will spend much more money for medicines. On the other hand, is healthy food wich is much more expensive but ficial for your health.
The second idea is also important, time. Some people says that time is money. Healthy food takes too much time to prepare it, so fast food prevails over healthy food again. It is a fact that people also give their attention to the food taste and fast food is the first in it.
The third topic that i would like to talk about is our health, because our health depends onh what we eat daily. Food is an inevitable need for us to go through or daily routine each day. It is the source of energy. Our bodies can not function without the benefits of the food. We can not recover from diseases or simple wounds if our bodies do not receive enough substances. So our choice shoul be healthy food. In addition, junk food refer to food that provide suboptimal nutrition with excessive amount of fat, sugar or sodium content per calorie. Junk food make us weak, fat and slow.
In conclusion, I would like to say that our food style depends on our choice. People have to decide between healthy food or food that is hurmful for them. In my opinion fast food kills people.

Graffiti vs. Graphic Design
Which career is good for you, graphic design or graffiti? Both of them are art cultures. Graphic design is legal and creative individual career. On the other hand is graffiti, which is a sign of urban decay, vandalism, crime and its illegal.
When we talking about graphic design we notice that it’s a part of art. Graphic design has a sense of design, create words and/or pictures, it’s also a visual communication. The professional graphic designer is Paul Rand. Graphic designers should not just draw and write well, but also they must make their design colorful and easy to remember for other people. It’s a fact that average pay for one hour is $41, 19 US dollar. Designers also can choose where to work, at home, in an office or outside. On average, the minimum amount of education is between two or four years of training in either fine art or design. Designers have a natural ability to create an extraordinary piece of design. The opportunities as a graphic artist are endless.
Then goes on with graffiti, which are words and/or pictures created by trouble markers, rebels or thugs. Today, tags are most commonly written the marker pen or spray-painted onto the building and apartment wall. Graffiti Graffiti art is an art form. The reasons, including aesthetic criteria, as to why it is an art form far outweigh the criticism of illegality, incoherence, vandalism, a fear crime and nonstandard presentation. On the other hand graffiti is art , a culture and it's historical and meaningful. Graffiti was born in US.
Graffiti is also criticized for being too hard to understand, but certainly this cannot keep graffiti art from being art anymore than the obscurity of abstract art or Picasso's cubism prevents either one of those hard to understand art forms from being considered as art. Goldman's aesthetic theory is of use to clarify the problem of location and presentation in relation to graffiti art.
Therefore, graffiti in the form of spraycan art is art. It has form, color, and other base properties as well as an arrangement of these elements into structures that qualify it aesthetically as being art. Just doing something with spraypaint might make it graffiti, but it does not necessarily qualify it as art or graffiti art. In addition, when the spraycan art is analyzed according to the artist's intention and value to audience, there is even more evidence to suggest that it is genuine art. The only obstacle that has hindered the general acceptance of graffiti art is its location and presentation. However, the instances of acceptance of graffiti art by the art world shows that conventional methods of presentation are not all that matters in determining if something is art. And graffiti art is not to be disqualified as art simply because it might appear unsolicited. In short, graffiti in the form of spray can art is art like any other work that might be found in a gallery or a museum.
